The Austin city pound, Town Lake Animal Center, is one of the primary locations we rescue from. We also get requests from other Austin area animal control offices about Siamese cats in need. We are often asked to take cats whose owners can no longer care for them for numerous reasons. There are cats that have been abandonded or lost and found by a good samaritan who contacts us asking us to help the cat. ASR takes as many cats as we have foster space to accomodate.
